Brentwood Buddies would like to give a big thanks to everyone that came out to support Kent Prairie Elementary School and their PTA at their “Merry and Bright Night” event! Kids and adults of all ages had a great time reading books and making crafts. In a fireside chat setting, I was invited to share my experiences of being an author and how the Brentwood Buddies Children's Book series began. I read one of my stories, answered questions from the audience, and signed books during this fabulous event. I shared how Brentwood Buddies continues to expand and reach greater audiences through our website Brentwoodbuddies.com, and through social media: Brentwood Buddies Children's Books on FB, Instagram and YouTube. As a teacher who has dedicated her life to helping children, I aim to make a difference in the lives our youth by teaching the importance of having self-confidence and compassion for others in our ever changing and diverse world. Through our books, music and the positive energy we put out into the universe daily, I hope to inspire parents and children to live their lives with kindness and compassion. Brentwood Buddies was happy to donate all of the proceeds from our generous parents to the KP PTA and to support this good cause. The Christmas spirit was flowing!
